The A-141.2 is a voltage controlled envelope generator. Whenever a gate signal is sensed at the gate input, an adjustable sequence of voltages is triggered - the envelope. The envelope can be used to modulate VCO, VCF, VCA or any control voltage destination.
The shape of the envelope is controlled by four parameters: Attack, Decay, Sustain, and Release. These parameters can be controlled manually or by voltage control via the dedicated CV inputs (each with an attenuator), and by a common CV control. There is 3 position range switch as well.. There is also a retrigger facility: while the gate is open, a trigger pulse received at the retrigger socket will restart the envelope from the beginning of it’s attack phase.
An internal jumper allow sthe output to be bipolar (-2.5v ~ 2.5v) or unipolar. (0-5v)
