This
is an expander module that can be used in combination with A-138b
to expand the number of inputs by 5, i.e. 9 (or even 14) inputs
altogether. It is a very simple module and is made only of 5
sockets, 5 potentiometers with knobs and 5 resistors. It has been
suggested by System A-100 users and was planned originally as a DIY
project only, but due to demand, it was decided to manufacture this
module.
The front panel silk-screen is one
of the most expensive components for such a simple module -
especially in small quantities. Provided that there is sufficient
interest, a printed front panel will become available. Until this
panel is available EMIS will supply this module with a tempory
overlay.
A little bit of soldering is necessary to connect the A-138xb to the
A-138b: 2 wires have to be soldered to the A-138b. If the main
module (A-138b) is returned to EMIS then the connection will be done
free of charge. |
