The A-132.1 is a dual low cost voltage controlled amplifier with a linear response most suited to controlling the level of control voltages such as envelope amounts and LFO levels.
In non critical situations the VCA’s can be used to control audio signals (particularly the Noise source). Amplification is governed by the sum of the voltages patched into the two CV inputs. The two sections are completely independent of each other.
The A-132.1 is DC coupled, and so will pass very slowly changing signals.
After June 2013, the A-132.1 was updated from the original pair of CA3080 chips, to the SSM2164 chips.
