The A-126 is a pure analogue frequency shifter, frequency shift can be controlled manually and with a CV control input (with attenuator) from about 50Hz to 5kHz.
Frequency shifting can shift an audio signal upwards or downwards, this is not the same same as pitch shift (transposition), with frequency shifting all the component harmonics of a sound are shifted by the same frequency, and not by musical intervals.
So, the output is generally likely to be dissonant, because the harmonics are altered by a linear shift, and not by an exponential shift which musical intervals follow.
